NDT best taken crushed, sublingually, or swallowed whole??

As above - we are unsure how best to take 'Naturethroid' NDT. One of us takes it crushed and mixed with honey/yoghurt. The other takes it sublingually. Some people seem to suggest that it may be best swallowed whole.

Does anyone know??

Scood, a member emailed that question to RLC labs and was told that NatureThroid should be swallowed whole and washed down with water.

Thyroid replacement should be taken with water on an empty stomach an hour before, or two hours after, food and drink. The molecules bind to proteins in food reducing absorption otherwise. If your friend has difficulty swallowing tablets s/he could crush them and dissolve them in water.

The molecules in T4 and T3 are too large to be absorbed sublingually but some members say sublingual ingestion suits them.
