Transition from thyroxine to natural thyroid.

Hi fellow sufferers

I am taking 100-125 mg of thyroxine for last 8 years after being undiagnosed for much longer.

With extra supplements and LDN I managing through the day, even working full time and commuting in London but chronic fatigue and putting on weight are still big problem for me. So i decided to try switch to natural thyroid-s because that's the only brand I could get without prescription.

But since I will be self medicating myself I would be grateful for any suggestions on how to start and what does.

It's quite easy you can just switch straight over. Just remember that 1 gr of natural dessicated thyroid hormone is equal in effect to 100 mcg of levo.

Good luck and hope you feel better soon. Take your pulse and temperature as a guideline. If pulse gets too fast or palpitations, or if you feel too hot - its too much and reduce next dose.
