Hi there, can someone please tell me where I can have private testing done for thyroid function /endocrine function? I've had so many tests done at my GP I can't ask for more I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and told to medicate and move on. I know there is more to it than this! Please help x

MedicAlternative in Dean Village, Edinburgh is good. Just look it up online. The advantage is that you don't have to get a referral from your GP as the Spire clinics insist on.

Fibromyalgia is just poorly treated under active thyroid...

My friend has fibromyalgia and I told her to get tested for under active thyroid but was told no thyroid issue its fibromyalgia? She gets chronic fatigue syndrome and joint pains, tremors and also weight issues. On b12 injections for years,

Fibro is a SYNDROME not an 'illness' and therefore doctors can choose as to whether they treat it or not.
