Hi - sorry to hear about your pains. How are your VitD levels - also B12 ? Have you had your thyroid tested - if so what were the results ? Did you have the full set of tests done or just the TSH ? I have read you have gall bladder issues which can be connected with being Hypothyroid.

These are the tests you need :- TSH - FT4 - FT3 - Anti-TPO - Anti-Tg - B12 - VitD - Ferritin - Folate - Iron . Obtain copies from your surgery so you can monitor your own health and its progress. It is your right to have copies. Return to this forum and post your results with the ranges - then we can help you even more. Never accept the word Normal from anyone - you may be in range but that does not mean it is normal for you. Where hormones are concerned we are all individuals.

Have you been given a Fibro diagnosis ? 14 years ago I too was told by a Consultant that I had Fibro. Thyroid diagnosed in 2005 and now that I am being optimally treated - thanks to the knowledge on this forum - I am well....in fact very well.

You can check out my profile to see my journey...edited version of course :-)

Have you seen the article in The Mail today -

healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...

Think it confirms what many of us think/know from experience on this forum. I am suspecting that your T3 will be LOW along with your B12 and VitD and possibly others. Don't forget to check out the anti-bodies for Hashimotos Thyroiditis. You didn't say if you are on Thyroid medication....

fibro 10, I stopped taking B12, Vit D and folate about 10 days ago prior to some private blood tests. Today I have been in a lot of pain. Difficulty walking, my feet felt as though I was walking on glass, my wrists are very painful, could hardly prepare dinner. Lots of other aches. I have started to take my supplements again today, double doses for a week. Hope to be back to an improved state after that. Hope you soon feel better.
