I'm sorry I've forgotten how to find you...these bloody meds Grrr
I'm wondering if you knew if they do alcohol ablation over there in UK?
My neck resection took out 1-4 lymph nodes on right side but the buggars are back already deep in level 5 not sure if surgery is possible due to subclavian artery which ones either embedded in or very close to. As you know it's Hurthle Cell & non-avid...they're saying I have to have more bloody RAI even though they agreed it will not work so have to have it simply so I am able to jump to next level of trial treatment - my darling cousin who lives in UK & her partner are trying to help raise money for the trip to come over...but I also have thrombosis blood markers so I'm not sure I can fly!! I found a specialist here in oz who said if I can get the alcohol sent here he would do it for me but I have no idea where to search to find out!!?? I don't want to give you any extra work!!! But I'm hoping you may know something!!! Thank you in advance for reading & I pray all is well for you!!
Lots of love & hugs ((()))

Donna, I'm well thank you. I'm so sorry they didn't get all the cancer during surgery. I've not heard of alcohol ablatement but I'll see if I can find any information on it and anything I can find I'll get back to you with.
Donna, the alcohol is ethanol. I should think that's easily available down under. There's a shed load of stuff on Google which I'm linking but haven't read google.co.uk/search?q=alcoh...
I hope this helps. Let me know how you get on won't you xx
Thank you so much I'm on my way to hospital now do ill read as soon as I get there...but at least ill be armed with something!! I've searched & searched but couldn't find a thing...I first heard of it from members in USA at some place called Sloane Kettering (sp?) hospital where instead of risking surgery or for the inoperable ones they blast them!! Xx
Donna, They've been doing it at Mayo for years and I think it's an accepted therapy now in the major cancer hospitals in the USA from the little I read. There was a .au link to a hospital in Sydney but page is removed but it suggests it's known in Australia. Good luck xx
