He is. Have you misread something in that article? He is definitely named there as one of what they call the "maverick" doctors.

Ah! I don't know anything about Dr Toft (though I think I've seen others say that he's one of those doctors who goes by TSH and the "normal" range and nothing else). But Dr Peatfield is most definitely on our side. I had a consultation with him a few months ago - he's brilliant!

Worth knowing! You'd think all doctors were on the side of their patient's health, wouldn't you? I know Dr Toft has written books because people have recommended them, therefore I thought he was on the side of reason!
