My results after two months on increased dose of 25 mcgs from 150 mcgs to 175 mcs
serum free T4 20pmo/L was 17 range 10 - 20
serum TSH 0.49mu/L was 5.5 range 0.30 - 5.50
So how come I feel no different and am still falling asleep and I mean seriously dropping off, even when sitting upright and wake up with my head hanging down and neck aching.
I went as early as possible for test ( 9 am) and didn't take my thyroxine that day, I feel so hopeless now.
Thanks for reading x

Helenback, TSH and FT4 being good in range isn't the complete answer. Low ferritin and vitD cause fatigue and aches and pains and good vitD levels help T4 to T3 conversion. If your FT3 is low you will benefit from a reduction in Levothyroxine and the addition of a little T3 which will improve the fatigue. You can order a private FT3 test from Blue Horizon and Genova via thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...
Your TSH is still way too high. Which probably means that your T3 is low. Which probably means that you are not converting your 175 mcg levo to the necessary T3. That is why you don't feel good.
No, it's me, I'm dyslexic! lol Sorry, I don't know what happened there. I could have sworn you said your TSH was 4.9. Must be going barmy! Anyway, it's still possible that your T3 is low - which would account for you falling asleep, see Clutter's response above - because the TSH is meaningless unless it's high.
Had a similar problem. Checked my FT3 - it was on the low end. Plus discovered I have an iron defficiency. You should look into iron + vit D, B12 and folate. Plus getting your FT3 tested clears up the picture.
