Good evening one and all!

Just to say that after 2pm I am kna****ed!! Up to two and a half grains of Nature - throid- legs aching, ankles swollen - do I need to increase the dose - pumping Vits etc - or is it just the hot weather we are unusually encountering? Still getting on better with NT than Erfa. Don't like the new site format - the old one was much more straight forward. Any help welcome XXX

Sheenah, sounds like you need to increase by another 1/2 grain. This heat is knackering but your other symptoms are hypo unless you're on your feet all day.

Thanks Clutter

I used to be on my feet all day but them days are gone - will increase tomorrow - Thanks xx Just for general interest, I am in the process of re-writing the words of "God rest ye merry gentlemen". My husband belongs to Glastonbury Male Voice Choir - yeah like I don't have enough to do - my choice - I just love words and vocabulary and am writing it with a Somerset bias - having trouble with the repeat - "Tidings of Comfort and Joy" etc - difficult syllables - any body think of an alternative verse? This must be part of the thyroid symptoms list - "one cannot think of ones syllables" LOL XX

Sheenah, I think you'll find that inability to rewrite lyrics and lack of rhyming couplets isn't a typical hypothroid symptom. It's probably due to lack of alcohol. Have a large G+T :-D

Sheenah I cannot help with your Christmas Carol lol. But having similar pains etc from starting ndt last week but strangely despite the pain I also feel a bit better than on lev - sounds weird but I think you might get it! Im only on one grain having upped from 1/2 so going to persevere. Good luck x

Yes persevere with it malone - much better than Levo - just sends you a bit silly ocassionally - or it is probably the heat - as for couplets Clutter My Dear - we will be into motifs next - and I have already had 3 glasses of wine - so it isn't alcohol deprivation, just inability to write words right now XXX

Sheenah, you don't say how you are taking your Nature-throid. Are you spreading the dose throughout the day or taking it all at once?

I'm still stuck with the ERFA which is not doing anything for me.

But it's quite a bit cooler where I am, just 18 miles from Glastonbury. ;-)

Yes I am taking it all at once - usually between 5-6am - do you think I should spread it out? How come you are stuck with Erfa? Where abouts are you? xx
