Hi Faceit, welcome to the Thyroid UK forum. If you have thyroid problems we're happy to help with them but you'll probably get better advice on getting a Lupus diagnosis if you post on the HU Lupus forum.
My sister is being tested for Lupus..she has a referral to see a rheumy consultant. Like you she has a rash and many many symptoms. Explain to your gp that you need to see a specialist to investigate further.
Hi, has your GP conducted blood tests, as this is what is required for Lupus, although they are not conclusive, I do not have the rash but have had very serious symptoms, but only managed to pass a test at age 48! If he is suspicious that you do have it, or you are you need to be referred to a rheumatologist, however often they have long lists as they cover so many diseases. Lupus UK on here will help you. Lots of us are on several forums. MaryF
