The TSH level is only a guide and the question to ask is 'how do you feel'? Are you well or do you still have clinical symptoms?

what is the deal? do you have thyroid nodules? Radioactive iodine is used to treat HYPERthyroidism, so what is going on?

The poster, naveed123, is hypothyroid because of radio-active iodine treatment. RAI was not given for hypothyroidism.

Estrellaliliana,

Once the thyroid has been destroyed by RAI previously hyperthyroid Graves patients become hypothyroid when they're no longer able to produce FT4 and FT3 and have to take Levothyroxine.

yes I know that, it's obvious, but to me the way she said it it sounded like she's being treated simultaneously with both things, that's why I thought there was something wrong or she was confused.
