Just back from gp who is the first one I have seen that has taken me seriously!! Woohoo!
Unfortunately, he is a locum so I hope he doesn't move on too soon.
Anyway, explained that i'm not right on 150mcg, showed him my private blood results and explained (as per your wonderful feedback on here) that I may not be converting properly.
He was very understanding and immediately said he was happy to prescribe me 200mcg of levo and check my bloods again in 8 weeks.
I questioned him about T3 and he said that he didn't think it was even made anymore! Oh well, I suppose it was going too well....
He did agree that if I still felt the same in 8 weeks that he would refer me to an Endo.
But....I just wondered....if i'm not converting properly, should I get him to investigate vitamin and mineral deficiencies before I start increasing my levo?
I could be on the right dose, just not getting enough of it........
I have had my B12 and Vit D done recently but didn't show him these, I didnt want to jeopardise how well it was going :o)
My B12 is - 55 pmol/L (25.1 - 165.0)
Vit D - 60.7nmol/L (over 50 is adequate)
Any feedback very much appreciated,
Thanks,
Bex
