I contacted the Justice department about missing GP notes. They say it's the Department for Health responsibility. Talk about passing the buck.
There was a post about the Freedom of Information Act on thyroid UK a few days ago.
GP's passing notes on to insurance companies.
The NHS refusing to install anticruption or inscription data.
That means a medic can rewrite your notes. Or delete them.
I had already complained to the health care Ombusman and the PCT and my MP about my notes going missing.
One of my GP's told the PCT I had harassed him. Which I had not. He even used the police to frighten me. As did a previous GP.
I warned about doctors especially in alternative medicine using biofeedback. With or without permission. It's bad news as it can mask your condition.
Because people just think it's a belief system they can get away with it. The security networks have been doing it for years. The usual government denials about how technology works.
It is artificial intelligence after all.
MRI machines can be programmed to read your mind locked in syndrome is one of the names used.
Some doctors have gone into denial and will not talk. While others play.

Im not sure what you mean by contacting the justice department, I would doubt missing medical notes would come under any criminal act, that could be dealt with by the police, unless you had overwhelming proof that they had been stolen or maliciously destroyed. They are right in telling you it is not their responsibility.
There may be a case for liability, through the civil courts, if you have proof that there has been negligence. But you would need very good proof and not just accusations of negligence. It would also cost quite a lot of money for solicitors and for the court case, you would also have to find the right liability solicitor.
If it is notes pertaining to mental health issues, then under the mental health act you do not have the right to see these or have copies of them, as this act can and does overrule the freedom of information act. There are quite a few legal conditions on the availability of your medical records, on what you are allowed and what you are not.
I suggest if you need to have anymore contact with GP's or other medical organisations that you do it through an advocate, that way they cannot accuse you or harassment if you are being polite and calm, as you would have a witness
As susymac pointed out you need some one and SEAP organisation can assist you.
I suggest contacting the Office of the Information Commissioner. The NHS has a statutory obligation to exercise due diligence in ensuring professional management of sensitive data.
You are right that the NHS does not use anti-fraud software - i had this confirmed via a FOI request. It means corrupt and unethical NHS GPs can go back an retrospectively alter your electronic notes.
