I have experienced this when hypo. Also my chest was icy cold yet felt sweaty. Do you have any other symptoms? I think I would try a small increase to see if it improves. I also take Armour and have found a small increase can make a considerable difference.
Thing is although foreheads & neck cold + sweat, rest of body usually warm! Confused, as cold also be sign Cortisol low?
Are your Adrenals ok?
Have never specifically had any tests for adrenals but had many of the symptoms. I take my first dose of Armour at 4.15am (as per CRT3) as I read this can help adrenals and things have improved since then though have also increased my dose.
debjs interesting thanks. Surprised no adrenal checks.
Are you seeing specialist?
Thanks

I was seeing Dr Skinner. I am also under an endo who was happy to let me continue with what Dr skinner suggested as he has little experience of Armour and doesn't prescribe it. I do have a very open minded GP who has been willing to try anything really. Have never been tested for adrenals, have actually been very mismanaged. Am due blood tests for B12 and Ferritin next week as my B12 levels were very low.
I think Dr Skinner believed the adrenals would heal themselves if thyroid replacement was right. I still have some way to go though and think it may be due to my low B12 levels which NHS would not treat as was 155 and bottom of range is 150 despite many symptoms.
It all seems to be a bit DIY. Hope you manage to resolve your symptoms.
