Hi Babbo,
It's hard to know why you feel asleep after your meal. Had you not eaten for while? Perhaps being tired from not sleeping in the night took over. If I have a heavy meal containing lots of carbohydrates I too fall asleep, but this maybe in part because I am a diabetic as well as having hypothyroidism following removal of my thyroid cancer.
As regards your TSH readings, I'm not sure that the measurements are for people in Bangladesh. If you have a look on the thyroid uk website you will find the readings for the UK and this might give you a bit more information.
I'm sorry I'm not much help but I do hope you feel better soon.
Take care x.
This happens to me quite often after lunch, Mehedi - more likely to happen if I've had a busy morning. And, of course, if you sleep during the day it is even harder to fall asleep properly at night. Vicious circle, right there! Palpitations are classic thyroid symptoms. People think that it means you're hyper thyroid (thyroid is over active) but they can just as easily be symptoms of hypo thyroid (under active). Palpitations are frightening. My first consultant told me they were 'nothing to worry about' but I'm not at all sure that's true. Especially if you're no longer in your thirties. But they are a very common symptom.
Are you on thyroid medication?
Is this happening to you after lunch (middle of the day) or in the evening after your supper?
