Can someone advise - daughter keeps getting tummy pains on lavo?

My daughter is constantly in pain in her abdomen area especially at night. In the morning after emptying her bowels the pain does not go away. Would this be down to fillers in Lavo? She was on Electroxin but suffered severe acne on her back so had to change to Lavo.

I think her GP will have to check her stomach first . It could be down to fillers/binders (don't think GP will agree with this comment). She could have an allergy to them as pain doesn't go away. Bearing in mind that levothyroxine has a long life and the dose you take today, gradually decreases over about 6 weeks.

This is a link and the suggestion may be helpful. Cursor down the page to the question dated September 6, 2001.

Eltroxin is levo, just a different brand name. What brand is your daughter on now as the Mercury Pharma brand has been causing some people problems. If she is on this brand tell her to go to her doctors and ask for Actavis of Wockhardt to see if her symptoms get any better.
