Well I'm high again on T3 at 11, top range is 7, same as before even though I know I wasn't dosing the same rate. Looks like my dose is going to be dropped agian, hello swollen face, lethargy, weight gain and feeling utterly shocking. My calcium has come in low - 2.1, vit D low- 0.30, liver function needs review as it was high in stress hormones.
My endo has said there nothing to be worried about as its 'still within range' ,I said shouldn't I be the upper range? Cue blank stare.
I also said I'd asked my GP for the same calcium test last year as Im getting rib pain and 'clicking' all over. He said 'it came back the same' I asked why he had decided to treat and the GP hadn't? 'Well we will see if it makes a difference.' .Just Wow! Why are they playing fast and loose with my health? It may be within range, but only just.
I feel like Im banging my head off a concrete wall. I want to feel well again, not in the low reference ranges, I want to be optimal.
I hate this!

Are you on T3 alone with no T4? If so, you should not take T3 before your blood test. I leave a gap of 24 hours and take it afterwards and it makes an amazing difference.
Good point. I tend to forget this when taking bloods. I'm on T3 only, I've been on T4 before and blew up in size, it was amazing, just like water retention or something Ive tried T4/T3 but I don't see any difference. I really want to try Armour ,but I'm worried if it works, I'll be lumbered with a bill for life
I had the same problem with tests. I need to be taking my last dose maybe 15-20 hours before the blood draw. Last time I left 9 hours and I was still high (with no symptoms).
Despite stating that one should NEVER take meds before a blood test. I must have had one of those days and it wasn't until 9 p.m. it suddenly struck me that I had taken my meds before my blood test.
If I had remembered just after taking them I would have cancelled the blood test. I obviously had an off day. Needless to say as soon as I entered his surgery I said please ignore the blood tests results as they are skewed. He did look worried but I reassured him it was only because I took meds before blood test. I told him, I felt great but he wasn't too convinced. I take T3 only and my T3 was 14.9 and highlighted by the labs.
6 weeks later and another test with meds taken before. the result was 3.9 and GP was happy. I also had about 3 alarms to remind me - no meds before blood test.
