I doubt there are many as it is almost impossible to get an NHS GP to prescribe it as it isn't licensed for UK use. Most who take it will have sourced it online and will be self medicating or under the care of private doctors.

Please don't take any medication, not prescribed, before you have the results of your biopsy. If it is not benign your specialist may want to do a completion thyroidectomy and will want to check your thyroglobulin as a cancer marker and you don't want this skewed by self medicating.

Your remaining lobe may be producing sufficient T4 to convert to T3 and taking NDT may cause hyperthyroid symptoms.

I hope your histology is benign and you have the result soon. Please post again if you need any help. I had thyCa 2 years ago so I do know how frightening it all is.

If, when the dust has cleared, you want to pursue supplies of natural dessicated thyroid again, there are a number of us on this site who have lines of supply and are happy to share our suppliers via personal messages (not allowed to post that kind of information).
