Ultrasound Scan date confirmed

Just to say my ultrasound scan has been confirmed as taking place on the 19th March at 11am.

The letter didn't even come to my flat - it was posted to my grandparents' place where I used to live.

I can't understand why the NHS have my old address still on file as I have moved house since and registered with a new GP practice!

Even if you change your address with the GP surgery, the hospital doesn't necessarily update their contact details. I had a results letter sent to my previous address but luckily i saw it the day before i handed in the keys! I contacted my surgery and they contacted the hospital for me and then they sent the letter for the hospital appointment to my correct address.

Seems daft really as the GP would have sent my referral on with my current address and the hospital would update as necessary.
