I'm back

Hi, just to say I have come back since feeling a lot better emotionally/mentally. Still not brilliant and still waiting on a letter for the ultrasound appointment.

Endo called me regarding blood tests and left a message for me to call her back - which I did, however she was not available at the time and her secretary took the message. I have not yet heard back.

Hi Jo, as I say the cogs of the NHS move slow unfortunately. Keep on the case.

Hi Fixit, thanks for your reply.

Yes, I don't know what I should be doing next. I don't want to seem like a nuisance at having to keep calling the Endo.

From experience you need to keep chasing. Don't worry about feeling a nuisance.

Hi Jo,

If secretary can't give you a time to call the endo just keep trying until you get through or the endo calls you back.

Hi Clutter, thanks for your reply.

The Endo has called me again whilst I have been out so I will call her back or keep trying.

great to hear that your feeling better within yourself jo , in my experience it really does pay to keep on at these people --- you should never class yourself as a nuisance , if they want to stop you THEY will have to deal with the problem .....even if to get you off of their back ......believe me this approach really does work in most cases .......and never ever forget that no matter what happens in your life WE ALL on this site will and are on here to support you in whatever way that we can ........and in the words of the saying ' NEVER LET THE B+++++S GRIND YOU DOWN '......alan xx

Hi Alan, thanks for your reply.

Yes, I remember speaking to the receptionist at the hospital regarding the ultrasound scan done 2 years ago (which neither GP practice received) and she got very huffy with me over it - but how is someone else's mistake my fault? I felt like saying, "tough ****, your problem, not mine." Excuse the need for expletives LOL but I was not impressed by her behaviour towards me.

Keep phoning the secretary so you will now what the endo is planning for you. You are not being a nuisance but you are looking out for yourself....... well done you and just so glad that you are back and feeling a little better now. Take care. xx
