.. try and alleviate these symptoms? I think I had Hashimoto's a long time ago. I take 100mcg of T4 so should I reduce to 75mcg and add 10mcg of T3?
TSH 0.99 (.3-5)
FT4 15.2 (10-18.7)
FT3 4.7 (2.5-5.5)

I simply added 25mcg T3 to my then current dose of 100mcg T4, which was recently reduced to 75mcg and take it all together before bed.
You aren't overmedicated on T4 and your FT4 & FT3 are reasonably high in range but you aren't feeling well, so I wouldn't reduce the T4 and would hope the addition of T3 would give you an extra boost.
If you're not sure how you'll tolerate T3 then you are sensible to split dose for a week or two until you can judge. Overmedication is indicated by jitters, diarrhoea, palpitations, racing heart, tremors, anxiety, tearfulness amongst others.
T3 will suppress your TSH and lower your FT4 which may freak your GP at your next TFT and you may have a battle to stop your T4 being reduced.
Hi Yellow,I agree with Clutter on this (well on most things.) I've just gone T4 free and since doing so feel less tired, more alive and ready to get on with my life.So split the dose and don't forget to reduce the T4 as well.x
Hi, its your symptoms that count really, but clutter is so right, I added T3 but ended up reducing my T4 by 75mcg, I split my T3 dose into two, early morning and then early afternoon,
my GP just said your TSH is very low, but as she doesn't know much about it, left it at that!
good luck in finding what suits you, Sue,
