can anyone see this
as afr as I know only done TSH .got copies of my most recent bloods-no mention of thyroid antibodies.folate or ferritin.i am always asking my dr questions re my symptoms and he doesn't answer .even writing to him fro referrals etc and showing him some posts from here which I can associate with and still get no answers even with visible symptoms.said on Friday when I asked about T3 and 4 and Ft3 FT4 said the lab wont do them if TSH is normal.drs dont have any say in the care of their patients anymore??
Hi try not to worry, this is not that unusual. Make sure you basic thyroid tests include tSH, T4 an d free T3, on line if difficult with GP. Then also request an ultrasound of the thyroid. If it shows any nodules, common, you always need a fine needle biopsy, just in case something happening. Also, if possible all the other usual blood tests.
Best wishes,
Jackie
Have you had ultrasound on neck/thyroid???
