My husband has been taking 6 Nutri daily on Dr P's recommendation. Now his results show that TSH is too high and T4 too low.

He had a consultation with Dr P firstly and recently a telephone consultation. How can he get the correct balance? Also is Dr P still giving consultations as I heard he'd been ill. Sorry, have no figures for test results until my husband sees the GP.

The nutri products will not play much or a role as they do not contain active hormones. For a high tsh all that will work is either ndt or synethetic t4

If' your husband's TSH is too high, I think he should be on medication for his thyroid gland. Has the GP not prescribed?

Dr P is coming back to work I believe later this month. He went into hospital and then had to return, but I understand he is now doing well.

Thanks for the response. My husband initially tried levothyroxine but it had an adverse effect on him so that's why he went onto Nutri. I wonder if a combination of levo & Nutri would work.Don't know much about these things! Glad to hear that dear Dr P is getting better.
