Full sptectrum bulbs for vitamin D intake

Anyone ever used these and where did you purchase them. Can only find stockists in America and Canada.

As far as i know its a bulb that gives out rays in the same way that sunshine does.

You can buy Vit D lamps on AmazonUK and many places supply full spectrum bulbs but you have to make sure they are the right type. Some are sold for avian and reptile use. Plenty of info if you google it.

Also regular use of a tanning tower or bed apparently works well, you only need about 4 mins a go.

Just goes to show how I'm thinking. "Lamps" were the furthest thing from my mind....I was thinking, bulbs as in plants or bulbs as in those little plastic containers containing saline and ventolin etc....!!!! Now of course it makes complete sense...Thanks

lumie.com or put in daylight bulbs in search engine and quite a few british suppliers come up. You could also try local electrical suppliers as used by electricians I normally find they have everything you would want and cheaper than places like B& Q
