I have been doing B-12 shots for 20 years and my Folate-Serum test this month is 20.0 shouldn't be lower? I do also have Perphriial Neuropathy in both feet.

Sorry you no replies - hopefully someone will pick this up from Latest Activity...
hi Periphery Neuropathy is normally Diabetes,Auto immune and hormonal. The best diabetes test is Hb1AcIt often start like ths, The symptoms are so like thyroid disease of Diabetes to start with. In any case with thyroid disease an annual test for Diabetes is essential. There is topical chilli cream, script, fairly useless. Powerful drugs, contra indicated for me. I have to use Versitis patches, powerful anaesthetic patches. Only on a script and very expensive. Consultant and I had a big battle to have them prescribed, definitely not available any where else and actually meant to be monitored ( Joke!).
I think your Foliates could be too high. If under an Endo B12 + foliates is their field. too.Maybe the B12 is more than in the higher end of range? You should have that tested annually any way, more if dose altered.
best wishes,
Jackie
