How many of us are taking NDT sublingually??

I do, I did it with T4, and it made my temperature rise better than swallowing it. I now take T3 and NDT the same way.

I do too. I cant swallow pills they stick in my throat. I'm also not good at remembering not to eat or drink so best option for me. I dont mind the taste in the slightest either. it was pretty yuk for a few days them I became immune to the taste

I take my levothyroxine sublingually every morning when I get out of bed, and then have a big cup of tea when it has dissolved away!

I take my first lot of NDT with a glass of water when I wake in the middle of the night any time after 3am so that means there is absolutely no problem with eating when I wake. My afternoon dose I do sublingually because I'm a nibbler and have always got something in my stomach. Hopefully it works ok sublingually but I have read somewhere that the molecules are rather large to be absorbed via the buccal mucosa. Anyway, what doesn't get absorbed that way hopefully gets absorbed in the stomach.

I like the idea of doing the early dosage by swallowing with water and the afternoon dosage sublingually. Never thought of that one!

I never worry about eating before or after my NDT, I just don't have Calcium or Iron at the same time. I chew it up a bit before I let it dissolve.

Someone once made a good point to me, she said that if you go about your normal daily routine, then your body gets used to it, and although some food can affect your absorption of NDT, your routine will be normal for you and your body will just demand a bit more of it to make up for any loss in absorption. I have gone by this since January, and I have breakfast and dinner with coffee or tea around the time I take my NDT.

I take mine sublingually too as I am also rubbish at forgetting to eat and drink. I need my coffee first thing so I take my first dose about 8.30 which is an hour after my coffee, my vits I take mid afternoon and then I take my second dose of NDT early evening while I'm preparing dinner so it's got a chance to get to work before I eat.
