Have you tried splitting it into two doses? I started on T3 only in Feb and was on 20cg, so I took it four times a day. Am now on 60 but it has taken ages to work up to that much. T3 is difficult to take if your iron or cortisol are low, in particular, but you should also have high levels of B12, folate and Vit D. Have they been checked? If so post results here with latest thyroid results and reference ranges and people can comment. Hope this will help. It is an amazing medication. I hope you can make it work. x

Hi I am on armour and T32 for a very low F T3.I am assuming thi is your case too.. If you were seeing a private consultant as opposed to a private doc the GP would prescribe the T3,as mine does always.. However, from a doc it will prove expensive.

Because of the T3 content in Erfa/armour. I split my armour into 2, early and afternoon. Split the T3 into 2 and take am later in the morning and PM evening.I have done that since T3 first available. Be especially wary of taking or being cons into a blood test for thyroid when taken T3, as the FT3 will be double, high after 2 to 3 hours. Why we split it.

Best wishes,

Jackie
