I need a thyroid specialist in London-- recommendations please.

Hi all,

I am new to London and am desperately seeking an excellent doctor to monitor my thyroid levels. I had a total thyroidectomy 3 years ago at age 22 and am not happy with my replacement medication (I am on 150 mg of Synthroid, a Canadian variant). I feel that it just does not lessen the symptons of hypothyroidism (or in my case, I have no thyroid, though I am not really sure what to call that). I am open to traditional medical approaches as well as more holistic ones. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance, and wishing you luck as we continue to muddle through this difficult health condition.

Is possible you arent converting properly....you may need T3....
