Can you drink alcohol whilst taking carbimazole ?
I certainly had no problems with alcohol and carbimazole, there were no concerns with my liver. What I will say though is that your alcohol tollerance changes, I can feel the effects an awful lot quicker these days (and can't blame age as I'm only 29!). A couple of regular glasses with food won't hurt though.
Hi
I sometimes can and at other times it makes me feel sick after one glass of wine. I don't seem to have any problems now that my bloods are back to what is termed normal levels.
Have one and see how you feel. I have been known to share a bottle of wine with a friend with no affects.
Just go out enjoy yourself and play it by ear
Have a god time

I am sure you deserve a treat on such a special day. Have fun.
Thanks for the replies. I do follow a healthy diet. I had some wine and felt fine
