I have an underactive thyriod an on 100mg levothyroxin, does anyone else suffer with night sweats. Everynight.
Hi sasha I sometimes take more than my prescription (Not a practice I'm recommending) when I'm up against it, which technically makes me over replaced and slightly hyper. When I do this I suffer badly with night sweats.
Your results may be in the normal range but maybe it's not your body's preferred level, get copies of your ACTUAL results there may be room for adjustment of your meds
Definitely get a print-out of your thyroid gland blood test results, as TTlady suggests. You must put the the ranges too as labs differ. We need enough medication to make us feel better. I did have night sweats when on levothyroxine but you may need a slight increase.
This is a link re pregnancy for your information and read from the third question onwards.
Please go and see your go. My brother (diabetic) started having nightly sweats, thought it was the diabetes, didn't occur it might not be related, but in fact it was lymphoma. Please just rule out anything serious, its too easy to blame an existing condition.
Thanx for all ur replys. Really helped. Going to book an appoiment now with my gp. X
I had night sweats followed by agonising cramp(dehydration i assume caused the cramp) when on combination t3 and t4. Dr S increased my meds and they went away having said that I woke at 6 am this morning with one but as I feel hypo I think I need an increase
