I was always told to take mine in the morning when I wake up and not to eat for half an hour
Many people take theirs at bed-time. Including me. I have never taken it in the morning so cannot provide any comparison. Lots of people responded with their opinions and experiences on a poll right here:

It is a perfectly legitimate option which works for some but not for others.
I know nothing about the natrasleep but many many things do interfere with levothyroxine. However, for me, one of the first benefits of taking levothyroxine was improved sleep.

Same here, I started with the morning, changed to night time because that was most convenient time for me but I discovered I actually felt better taking it in the morning so I changed back, then when talking about it with two endos I have seen that was their preferred tme. Mind you if I had felt fine I would have continued to take them at night. I'm on block and replace and take Carbimazole too so not sure it is a fair comparison - might be different if I was thyroxine only.

thanks everyone i guess ill stick to the morning until i start feeling better and being able to sleep
Take T3 in the day and sleep better if take Thyroxine at night.
yes i have done tons of research and people claim it is much better at night. lots of studies to back it up as well. I started taking it about 4-5 wks ago before bed and i am doing better. I make sure i do not eat after 7 and take it between 10-11 when i am going to bed. In the morning i am free to have tea, food, other medication etc and i can take all supplements after eating so i am not worried about anything altering the synthroid or effecting the absorption. hope this helps
