Wish me luck....I am going in to talk to my normal GP about my possible thyroid issue today when I go in for repeats of Prolactin blood test

;I also will be commenting on my last TSH of 4.1 my symtoms and my fibromyalgia. Is it worth telling them my mum is hypothyroid....probably. Thanks for your encouragement......

Yes, docs should take into account close family medical history together with having your thyroid antibodies tested, I was told that I was NOT hypothyroid with a TSH of 7.9 but then I found thyroid forums and Thyroid UK and asked my Doc for thyroid antibodies to be tested, he did and they were off the scale - how can a doctor argue then?

Let us know how you get on, preferably you would also have your ferritin, folate, vitamin D and B12 tested too.

thanks muchly....I posted on what happened....I gotta get more blood tests and then if they are indicative of something (yet again lol) they referring me to endo.
