No need to worry and no need to take the spa tone with it. T4 is a storage hormone which is inactive. Some people take the whole dose once a week with no ill effect. You'll be fine. Now stop worrying and go and enjoy the day. Xx

Small overdoses such as yours are usually almost entirely insignificant.

I would have done absolutely nothing. At absolute most, I would take only 50 tomorrow - but IF AND ONLY IF, when I get up tomorrow, I felt that I overdosed today.

Taking the spatone leaves you uncertain now whether you might even end up under-dosed today! But absolutely nothing to panic about.

Despite the fear doctors have, the dangers of levothyroxine overdose are actually very low. There are stories of people taking huge overdoses and having very little real impact. Children seem especially resilient. It is extraordinarily difficult to find reports of of overdosing simply because they are so often well-tolerated with only the extreme cases being reported.

Indeed, there are stories of "weekly dosing" where a district nurse pours a whole week's worth of levothyroxine tablets down the throats of her elderly patients, once a week, because she only sees them once a week.

Thanks all for the reassurance! I take my pills at about 5am so the spatone was 3 hrs later i dont think it will make that much difference?

I agree. Probably no measurable difference at all.

Enjoy the rest of the day.

Have a look here:

nelsonsnaturalworld.com/en-...

That is not any form of comment on the product. I do not know enough to say anything meaningful about it but some people here do take, or have taken, it.
