Pressure in head ringing of ears feeling dizy and sick so tired anyone experienced this...
yes all the time.
...or under-treated thyroid.....
I have had all of those including bad headaches. What thyroid meds are you taking and do you take supplements.
Thyroxin. 75mg no supplements, serum free triiodothyronine level 4.3 pmol/ L , serum TSH 2.75 mIU/L what ever that means,gp said I in range can't see a endo it's stress that's making me ill and making my hair like candy floss,my skin so dry it's red rash now on my face,so tired can't function, a head that I want to chop of to ease the pressure , sorry I'm a misery at the moment ,please tell me it gets better,I've never felt this ill and tired ever .....
I think you may be slightly under-replaced. You haven't given reference ranges but your TSH is higher than I would expect to see for someone on thyroxine. Often it needs to be below 1, suggesting that perhaps you may benefit from an increase in your thyroxine. Your symptoms are all common hypothyroid symptoms. Your T3 is rather low in range too.
If you can get an increase from your doctor, hopefully you will start to feel well.
It would also be wise to get your serum iron, ferritin, folate, vitamin B12 and vitamin D tested. If your GP is convinced you are on enough thyroxine (I'm not convinced but I'm not a doctor ) then he should have no objection to doing these tests as, after thyroid, these are the most likely things to be causing your symptoms. If you manage to get these done, please post the results because even if your results are right at the bottom of the range your doctor is unlikely to do anything about it and you will need to supplement yourself.
It does get better once you are on the right treatment and you have all of the above sorted out.
I hope that helps.

No iron, ferritin 105 ug/ l ,folate 6.1 ug/ l , vitamin B12 446 ng/ l , serum vitamin D 94.3 nmol/ l , done a couple of months ago gp say fine, wouldn't dare ask to repeat these , TSH never ever been under 1, I thought iron was ferritin , forgive me I just found u all a few weeks ago and knew nothing at all about under active thyroid or any thyroid for that matter, took gp word gospel , not any more though, any one know what I should try next..
Your ferritin is fine, which is a good start. You would probably benefit from taking some folic acid and some B12. You might want to consider taking a B complex plus a separate B12 (methylcobalamin is better than cyanocobalamin). Your vitamin D looks pretty good too.
It looks like you might also benefit from an increase in your levothyroxine. There is plenty of room for an increase without putting your TSH out of range. It doesn't actually matter if your TSH does go below range provided you have no symptoms of being hyper, such as tachycardia or high t3 levels. There has been research to show this.
I hope you get the right treatment

Yes I had this on thyroxine but all better now on NDT. Please can you post your latest thyroid function test results (and ranges) and what medication, if any, you are on? Hopefully this will help to shed light on things a bit xxx
Yes I too experience this. It`s awful isn`t it?
There is a nasty virus going around with similar symptoms, so maybe you have got it and if so, hopefully the symptoms will ease soon.

Im really tired at the moment so will be quick. I was dizzy for two years and no explanation. i was diagnosed hypo changed from levo to armour and everything is much better. I just organised a gig for my band this weekend something i would not have been able to do only months ago. Im tired because i went out on the saturday night too! oops. IT DOES GET BETTER. I promise. I used to have migraines that made me want to hop my head off the wall. Be kind to yourself and get all your blood test results. It can be sorted.
Thx you, I will going to see an endo privately even if I pay for it for the rest of my life, thyroxin is no good to me, will get to try NDT...
Before you jump ship on the levothyroxine, make sure all your vitamins and minerals are up to scratch, no amount of any thyroid meds will work properly if you have deficiences in any of your vitamins or minerals.
I would definitely look into seeing someone recommended by thyroid uk. Even if you stay on the levo just getting all your levels right will make life better. See what the ladies say here about the endos they have seen. good luck xx
