Hi There may be something else going on. it could be simply that your FT3 is out, you need it testing , anyway. Vit D , hormonal can effect it strongly. If low, a corrected calcium test before treatment. iron/ feritin, well in range, diabetes and B12 + foliates, ( needs to be high in range)all hormonal and autoimmune. If these do not show anything and you feel ill, you need to find the cause, it could be various related things.
Best wishes,
Jackie
You didn't say how you are feeling. If I had a TSH of 4.27 I would feel awful. Did your GP say "all normal" when your TSH was 5.6 as well? If so then he is wrong. If you lived in almost any other country but here a TSH of 4.27 would be high enough to be classed as hypo.

Thank you both so much for replying. I feel awful all the time but nobody seems to be listening. Don't know where to go from here. X
