For ages I thought I understood the TSH cycle and feedback loops. Now I seem to have lost the plot.
Now on 50 mg Levo. no obvious change in 8 weeks. My blood results show probably not converting. High TSH, T4 at top, low T3
What I can't seem to get my head round is aim to get TSH down, which would apparently reduce stimulation of thyroid gland. thereby reducing thyroxine production.
If Levo. is further increased TSH further reduced, so thyroid output presumably reduced.
Is natural thyroxine just being replaced by the synthetic Levo.? Is thtere any point in asking GP for increase in Levo?
Thanks

Am getting tired of battles.

Do you have the actual figures, and your lab's reference ranges? If so, could you post them?
