T3

I am usually on 125mg Levothyroxine, but do not feel that well. After reading posts on hear, I have purchased T3 from another source. My T3 is 25mg, my question is, how much levo should I discontinue if I am going to take 25mgs T3. Thankyoux

25mcg is very roughly 4 times more potent than t4, so 25mcg of T3 is roughly equivalent to 100mcg of T4. Xx

When I trialled T3 I was told to reduce levo by 25mcg for every 10mcg of T3. It is more potent as Clarebear says but it is also shorter lived than levo so you will probably need to split the dose of T3.
