Hi I would try and take your TSH, T4 and Free T3 tests with you. You may well need to start on some of both and then have an increase after a re test. Also take a list of symptoms, for your self as a prompt.Try and be succinct as they are always in a rush! You can look up the Endo`s name on google ,most likely as he should have his CV on there. You should also find his name on private hospital sites but of course, so many near the hospital, most work at the best places near either their home or hospital, often more info on those. you can also phone his secretary and ask what treatments he prefers. A good guide too.

I hope that helps. remember if not hat you want , you can always ask for a new referral to an Endo of your choice

Best wishes, Jackie.

I've seen prof b and I found him to be a fantastic listener with lots of time and hugely knowledgable, etc. He is old school and has no truck with NDT and the like but hopefully he will sort you out. Their lab is second to none and I had every blood test under the sun. Make sure he really tests your adrenals. When I went to see him he just tested by blood and said he was impressed with the result given my current state at the time but I wish now I had gone down that road a bit more with him because the adrenals are so very important! Good luck and hope you feel better soon. X

Thanks all... I cant seem to reply to this on my iPad... Louise, I was put on 50 micro on 16 April and went up to 75 for a month .... Jackie, yes I took all my results...and janiebell, thank you, I think he is great....he gave me a lot of time and yes I'm waiting on the adrenal results now as my immune system is odd....I am 51 but had a random heart attack and c arrest at Christmas so one thought is it could have been triggered by my meds as I actually felt 100% in early march.... My tsh is 75 and antibodies - off the scale at 5000+. I just want to feel better....off work today as period so painful and bad :(
