pain in the neck
Hi The 2 should not be related. Can you be more specific ie trouble breathing? constricted? Pain?Acid reflux is not really quite like that. Also I or 2 tablets should not make a huge difference.Normally Gastro`s say they should be taken first thing on an empty stomach???
Get back to me, click on bottom of post on "reply to this" and I will try and help. You do mention Hashi but not if you have had an ultra sound, for enlargement and nodules, common. Voice and swallowing are badly effected if so. If nodules found have to have a needle biopsy under ultra sound , radiologist.
Best wishes,
Jackie
hi jackie apparently they are linked due to being undiagnosed for many years prob15 the food going through the digestive system stays to long causing irritation and intollerences to food leading to a hiatus hernia my mum had the exact same we were also told just prior to me being diagnosed that its not hereditory but it is - my endo believes there is a strong link.
ill speak with my endo maybe a scan would be a good idea x
Hi Interesting! I have always had very slow motility , nuclear tests and specialised other tests, years ago. Some of my intollerences were due to my pancreatic enzymes. This is a separate issue. It shows in Faecal Elastase test very common , especially with Caeliac disease. but other things too. My Endo sorted this ,in spite of being under Gastro`s 40 years! remedy is not perfect but replacement enzymes ,called Creon, script after test or safe from Holland and Barrat, they are just replacement enzymes. Taken 20mins before food, 1 or large meal 2.They take a few months Diabetes test too, very important with these type of problems, goes with thyroid anyway. It is safer to have an ultra sound any way. non invasive and no risks, as you well know,Irritation , are you sure not caeliac or similar. All very hard to diagnose, even with a scope.?
I hope things improve, they should any way once the thyroid OK.
Best wishes,
Jackie
