Hi all.

It has took me weeks to write a letter to my gp, backed up with factual blood results, which I underlined in red noting where my ranges were out.

However I also added the scottish parliment document and other relevant paragraphs that fitted in nicely with evidence lodged. I was really anxious about submitting this letter as it was 4 pages long lol but I had to defend myself.

I have been complaining of thyroid smptoms for a very long time and was told my blood test was normal.

up and till last week my blood test results came back over the range, gp hasnt got a clue i have my print out, I really hope she eats her words arghhh.

I was really frustrated during this letter writing and ask for a private refferal, this has been granted but my questions have not been answered, such as, I have a abnormal bone profile and asked is this result is now normal, no answer, I asked about pernicious anemia still no answer.

maybe she leaving the decision to my private Endo, what a load of crap.

what concerns me is the privare Endo will understand why I have been feeling aweful and hopefully write to my gp, I hope this is not ignored like previous private abnormal results, leaving my health to futher decline and futher Autoimune Attacks.

What a mess and system failure, lets hope I get some joy in the next month.

thanks for all your support. xxx

Best of luck - I'm a few steps behind you so hope all goes well? - I'm going to GP next week and asking to be referred to endo so well done that you've got this far. x

Change GP as soon possible I reckon. I've just asked my GP for private refferal so hopefully if I can get money together I will be seen soon as well.

Well done for persevering. It must have been difficult if you've not felt well. Hopefully you'll have some answers and the right medication soon.

Hello Merissa I am in the process of doing the same thing and I have a lorry load of documentation to present, and will probably take me at least a week also to prepare the letter. Good luck. Diane
