Hi. I get flatulence quite regularly, I know this does go with IBS but lately the odour is quite foul. I am on Peppermint oil capsules and have to take fibrogel with mebeverine along with lactulose as I have ibsc. I try to eat healthily and try to avoid trigger foods.
Is this a problem for anyone else?

Activated charcoal is amazing stuff. It collects gas and toxins as it passes through the digestive system dramaticaly reducing bloating, odour and cramps. It doesnt get absorbed by the body so all the nasty stuff gets eliminated with it. It is also used in the ER to treat over dose as it adsorbs all toxins. This means you have to time medication carefully leaving a couple hrs either side. It can even be used if you have e tummy bug, virus or even whiten your teeth. I buy it on line in powder form as it is best value for money and more affective. Hope it works 4 you like it works for me!

yuuup. Luckily, my boyfriend is also a farter and finds it funny or I would be in trouble lol
Started back on the FODMAPs today, so hopefully that will help. Have you tried the FODMAP diet? The average persons "healthy" is a lot different than healthy for someone with IBS.
