Levator Ani or something else?

I'm going nuts with a pain in my but. Any slight wind in my stomach sends a horrible sore sensation into my rectum. Relaxing to empty my bladder sets it off too. I do have pelvic floor dysfunction and very tight muscles diagnosed on investigation. I've had it on and off for years but it usually only lasts a day and then I'm fine for a while. This episode has been going on for 2 weeks and it happens at night, usually as I'm about to fall asleep. I'm very stressed at work and this is adding to my anxiety. I Googled, and levator ani syndrome seems to fit. Proctalgia Fugax doesn't fit because the pain isn't agonising and it's not going away!

Does anyone have this? I use a Sitz bath which helps (a bit). Currently my brain is focused on my bottom 😥 and this is never good 🙄
