I'm in the middle of a 3 week chronic flare with all of the accompanying symptoms and anxieties which severely restricts my life and as i finally managed to get out of bed and get dressed this morning it occurred to me how we all get through day by day of this, I read the posts on here and there is so much courage out there dealing with this underrated condition and the effect it can have. I am fortunate in that I am now retired but many of you are are out there holding down jobs, caring for families and just trying to live (I know I've had years of contending with all of this) so kudos to you all despite everything we still keep going!!

well said!! - I agree with everything you write. I’m also retired and can’t imagine what it must be like to have to go to work , run a family and manage all the symptoms. It’s very challenging for all of us and I’m similarly impressed with the courage, stoicism and humour of so many sufferers. It gives hope and empathy to others on the bad days when it all feels too much. Thank you
