I HAVE BEEN ON LAXIDO FOR CHRONIC CONSTIPATION FOR 1.5 YEARS HOWEVER I HAVE NOTICED THAT MY STOOLS GETTING A BIT MORE RUNNIER. I HAVE BEEN TO GP AND SAYS THEY DO NOT THINK IT IS ANYTHING TO BE CONCERNED BUT I WAS WONDERING COULD THIS BE DUE TO I HAVE BEEN ON IT FOR A WHILE - MAY BE I NEED SOMETHING MILDER. STOOL COLOUR VARIES AT TIMES FROM NORMAL TO ORANGE/YELLOW, BEEN FOR A COLONSCOPY 2 YEARS AGO AND WAS TOLD USUALLY YOU DO NOT NEED ANOTHER ONE FOR 4/5 YEARS.

STOOLS
I suffered from an impacted bowel a couple of years ago & it caused overflow diarrhoea I didn’t know what was happening. Trip to A&E because of pain. They put me on high does of Laxido & Fybogel, which sorted me out. Now 2 years on & a diagnosis of diverticulosis I switch between C & D. I never know whether to take a laxative or not. However instead of everyday I take a fybogel or Laxido a couple of times a week & can always reduce or increase as & when. My stools are the same colour of yours too - it’s a minefield isn’t it? 😖Good luck.
Laxido is the only thing that helps my chronic constipation, and consistency does change based on what's happening in my gut. No color changes, so maybe check that out.Yes, the NHS (conveniently for them) changed the guidance to every 5 years for colonoscopy in stead of 2 for certain issues. When I tried to get one after 5 years, they gave me a "virtual colonoscopy," which is a scan. My pain (cecum) is excruciating so I'm having a capsule endoscopy to see if there's anything going on structurally...
Good luck ~
