i have IBS-C diagnosed in December 23. Over the last months I have managed to keep it under control. Information I got from this site has been helpful.

I am in constant pain (manageable), find it difficult to sleep. Advice please.

Have you thought of taking some Magnesium a little while before bed? Magnesium helps with constipation (go steady and start with small amounts at first)

Magnesium helps constipation and can also help sleep.

Be careful because some people shouldn't take Magnesium though. There's some advice here:

If you're not sure, ask your doctor if it's safe for you.

Hi Thanks. As you suggest I will check with my Doctor before taking Magnesium.

I take Magnesium regularly which helps me sleep. It also helps with depression and anxiety which I'm prone to. I take the healthspan Opti Magnesium, not the full recommended dose though as I do eat some foods that contain magnesium. Check with a medical advisor
