I got my blood results today and all are normal except slightly elevated bilirubin level. Still waiting on result of h pylori test so don’t know if this will be linked if it comes back positive but just wondered if anyone else had got this result in any blood work and if so did it lead to a specific issue or diagnose/ further investigation?

Probably nothing. My latest was 3.5% over normal range and Im totally unconcerned, particularly as it was 3x higher than normal range upper figure ~10y ago before steadily decreasing down to in-range.
GP said I had Gilbert's Syndrome (often hereditary) which is the usual "diagnosis" if it's high but, if so, Gilbert must have gone somewhere else in recent years! A Nutritional Therapy (NT) protocol may have helped with its decline.
8y ago, my dad's bilirubin doubled when he started statins aged 62 then climbed to 50% above normal range upper figure. Again a GP suggested Gilbert - which presumably had been hiding for 62y! He disagreed, stating it was an effect of the statins on his liver (a common side effect) and suggested a retest after coming off the drugs. Within 3m, it had returned to normal so the GP agreed he was wrong. So dad was right and has remained drug-free since with a NT protocol probably accounting for good cholesterol results etc.
