Does anybody who is prescribed Mirtazapine also use Kalms Daytime successfully? There seems no really clear guidance whether it is safe to do so although it is advised against. In the past (before I was prescribed Mirtazapine) I used Kalms quite happily and successfully.
However since taking Mirtazapine at night to help me sleep I haven't as the doctor couldn't reassure me it was safe even though I would only be taking Kalms during the daytime. I just wondered if anybody here had tried the combination and whether or not it had caused problems.
Thanks.

Unfortunately I don't know if those 3 herbs would be good to take with mirtazapine. If your doctor doesn't know, and findings online aren't conclusive it might be better to leave them out to be on the safe side.
I’m on Mirtazapine they really help with my sleep I asked my GP if I could take a sleeping tablet with these for nights when I’ve got a flare up and she said yes I could. Obviously check with your GP or a pharmacist might help but I would of thought Kalms would be ok
I can see no reason for any interaction between the two. Let's face it, Valerian is lettuce and hops are beer, seems good to me! However, if you want to check another root to help with daytime anxiety then I'm quite interested in Mushroom capsules after reading this article mushrooms4life.com/medicina...
