I used it. I would say ot helped with my anxiety and some of my symptoms have improved, but I still have some symptoms. I'm considering restarting the programme.

hi!

I tried it for 3 months, I found it nice having that bit of relaxing me time each day (especially with a baby)…but that’s about all I got from it sadly. I didn’t notice any change :( I let my gastro consultant know what I was trying out and he was supportive as he didn’t know what to do with me next. This was September time last year.

I’m on my second time round with Nerva - as the app had glitches first time… ( customer services are great). It’s got lots of useful info about IBS and the hypno sessions are like gut directed meditations.. it hasn’t helped but the meditations are great for relaxation, and it’s easy to build a daily practice which is good for all of us! I’ve also done the Zoe nutrition programme so my diet is gut friendly, but my symptoms still persist. I’m waiting for a CT scan of pancreas but the urgent two week referral is currently at least 12 weeks in the UK.

I had my CT scan for pancreas (they scanned pelvis and abdomen ), they were unsure it would show up the reason for my pancreas issues but it did show up what they believe to be endometriosis on my bowel. I managed to use private healthcare but there seems to be a back log in this. I saw a rheumatologist last week where I was told I need urgent care and treatment, but we now have to wait on the result of MRI scan. I chased this up with the hospital whilst I was there, it’s been two weeks since they received the referral. They said it was in the pile and I should hear back next week, but it’ll be another 5 weeks at least until I get the appointment. I’ve been off work all year so far 😩 it gets so frustrating when your life is taken over by something 24/7 and you have to wait for answers. I keep saying to my husband atleast we managed to get this Private, as I was told NHS would be months and months.

I hope you get your appointment soon!!

Hi! It worked really well for me. I'm still following a reduced FODMAP diet for my IBS, but using Nerva got rid of all the symptoms I was having due to stress. It took about four months or so of daily sessions to work, but that was over a year ago and I haven't had to use it for several months. I'd definitely give it a go. Good luck! 😊

I have tried hynotherapy three times, first with a GP friend of my GP at the time (about 30 years ago). Secondly I tried CDs by Michael Mahoney (about 10 years ago) and lastly quite recently Nerva. None of them worked for me.
