Random flares for 1 week+

I am not sure whether it is a combination of stress and the hear but everytime I eat I get painful stomachache, bloating, indigestion and my stomach has been more upset than usual. This isn’t being helped by the fact it is stressing me out- I know it makes it worse but I am going through an anxious patch! I am just fed up, I had it a couple of months ago and it lasted over a week. Pepto bismol used to be miracle stuff but it has been discontinued in this country! Any advice or support please would be hugely appreciated xx

Hi, Just a couple of links for Pepto Bismol:

dailychemist.com/product/pe...

dailychemist.com/?s=Pepto+b...

Have you tried imodium, that's easier to get but I actually find Pepto Bismol is better for me. But we are all different.

The hot weather is certainly not helping.

I just checked for pepto bismol in UK and it wasn't on Amazon UK. But I did find it at some other websites in UK. Like this one:

mychemistplus.co.uk/product...

I noticed some on ebay too.

But it's not on the Boots website.

I hate it when something disappears "in our country" and yet is still easily available in the US. I have just received some Benadryl cream for itchy insect bites, that is the only thing that helps me in the late summer, and I get so many awful insect bites that keep me awake half the night. UK has "discontinued" it (why??) I order mine from the States via Amazon.com where I have an account. For something that costs (I think) $4.95, I end up paying $21, for shipping and the dreaded import tax plus VAT....government robbery, but my only choice.

Horrid for you I know these symptoms only too well, Colpermin might help?

Give Ginger tea a try.
