Ondansetron

Hi all, has anyone tried Ondansetron for IBSD? It is a drug for Nausea and vomiting but has been found to be helpful for people with IBSD. I tried it, but it made me very constipated and I went from taking two, to one, to half a one. But it started to cause bloating and wind pain again which I hadn't had for some time!!

I would be grateful for any comments.

Morning Art78 this is a new one for me, never heard of it, need to know more about it. Let's know how you get on with it

Ive had it for IBS d. It was awful. Dreadful cramps. It slowed down the BM but I couldn't stand the pain.

I tried it. My doctor prescribed it for nausea. It bound me up so bad I had to go to emergency hospital for impacted bowels. Be careful with this one.
