So had a colonscopy and a CT scan due to changes in bowel movements big mushy yellow stools. which could block the toilet bowl at times. Colonscopy and CT scan showed up nothing. I go to the toilet between 1 and 2 times a day. I was told it could be:
IBS
Perimenopausal causes as I am going through this.
The Gastronlogist doctor on my letter to GP diganosed me with Non Specific GI issues. So I am no further forward here.
I would be grateful if others could advise me if they have had something similar.

My poo is mainly yellow but I have chrons disease perhaps you need a more in depth test such as an MRI. If your poop floats and looks like syrup keep bugging your drs. Or consultant you need to know what is happening to your body. I am also menopausal and it does change your. Poo for. Some reason I wish u luck keep on at your doctor this can't be left
I will chase for a MRI as CT scan and colonscopy were clear. The are not going to press with anything an just told me that there is nothing wrong with me but I need to know. It is due to menopausal then good at least I will know then.
What comes up in my mind is possible partial blockage of bile and or pancreatic duct? And if so, you need to know the underlying cause. Maybe a referral to tertiary health care for better diagnostics?
